Include your iOS version, device model, and PRESS version (Settings → About section) when reporting a bug. Screenshots help; logs help more — see Diagnostics below.

Common questions

  • Is there a subscription? No. PRESS is a one-time $4.99 purchase.
  • Do I need an account? No. Everything stays on your device.
  • Does it work offline? Yes. Designed for the back nine with no signal.
  • How many players? 2–8 depending on game mode (Wolf is fixed 4, Nines is fixed 3).
  • Can I restore on a new phone? Restore the purchase via the App Store. Game history is local — back up your device with iCloud Backup or a Mac to carry it across.

Troubleshooting

  • App won't launch or feels stuck. Force quit (swipe up from the app switcher) and reopen. If it persists, restart the device.
  • Scorecard scanner can't read my card. Ensure good lighting, lay the card flat, and capture the par/stroke-index rows fully. You can always edit values manually after scanning.
  • Apple Watch isn't syncing.Make sure both devices are unlocked and within range. Open PRESS on the iPhone once to push the active game. If it still doesn't appear, restart the Watch.
  • Live Activity / Dynamic Island missing.Check Settings → PRESS → Live Activities is enabled, and iOS Focus modes aren't suppressing them.
  • Lost a game. Open History — completed rounds are kept locally. If you deleted the app, the data is gone (there is no cloud copy).

Diagnostics

PRESS has a built-in diagnostics screen with logs, device info, and a one-tap share button. Open the app → Settings → Diagnostics, then send the report to hello@presscaddy.com.

Feature requests

We read every one. Press handicaps, team formats, Vegas, and Best Ball are already on the roadmap. If your favorite game isn't there, tell us.

Refunds

App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't see your payment information, but we're happy to help you write a clear request.
